10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Ligman Lighting USA warrants all luminaries, poles, and mounting hardware products against defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from date of invoice, subject to the terms of this limited warranty. This limited warranty only applies to products purchased on or after this limited warranty’s effective date of 7/1/2025 or its last revised date, whichever is later, and is transferable to subsequent purchasers of products if the product is resold in new condition and in its original packaging. Ligman Lighting USA will, in its sole discretion, replace, supply replacement parts, repair, reimburse, or credit 100% of the original purchase price of a defective product. The warranty period is not extended if a product is replaced or repaired. Ligman Lighting USA will, in its sole discretion, determine whether a Product is defective and may require photos, electrical measurements, or other in-field data prior to RMA authorization. Ligman Lighting USA may also request the return of defective parts and products for inspection and testing after RMA authorization.
Ligman Lighting USA products other than luminaries, poles, and mounting hardware, including Solar based products, Smart Poles (e.g. L-Columns), and replacement parts (e.g. LED Drivers), are warranted as set forth above but only for 5 years from date of invoice. Auxiliary components, such as remote controls and DMX controllers are warranted as set forth above but pursuant to the OEM’s published warranty term which varies by manufacturer.
Luminaries
This limited warranty applies only to luminaires (i) properly installed and maintained in accordance with all manufacturer’s instructions and (ii) operated in the specified ambient temperate range and for no longer than 4,380 hours in a 365-day period (with an average operating time of 12 hours in a 24-hour period).
This limited warranty covers a luminaire’s LED light engine, driver(s), optics, controls, body, and finish. Properly cleaned luminaires with light output that is 10% below the projected performance as set forth in our product documentation will be considered defective. Should the driver or light engine fail to operate during the warranty period, Ligman Lighting USA reserves the right to choose, in its discretion, to repair the unit in its factory, send replacements for faulty components to be changed by customer, or replace the product with an equivalent, as determined by Ligman.
Poles and Mounting Hardware
This limited warranty applies only to the material, body, and finish of poles and mounting hardware that have been properly specified (dimensions, materials, mounting) for the intended application and that have been properly installed and maintained in accordance with all manufacturer’s instructions. Any pole which has a lower EPA rating than required to meet indicated wind-loading zone requirements per AASHTO/ASCE is specifically excluded from this limited warranty.
Exceptions
This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by (i) external causes such as acts of nature, accident, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control, (ii) improper use (including improperly ordered finishes for corrosive environments), handling or installation, (iii) storage, (iv) improper electric supply or grounding, failure to follow applicable electrical codes, electrostatic discharge, or surges in electric current, (v) field modifications or alterations, (vi) normal wear and tear (including paint finish that has faded uniformly or chalking that may occur as part of the normal aging process or natural or induced mechanical oscillation and vibration), or (vii) unauthorized repair. This limited warranty does not apply to products installed outside of the USA and Canada.
Under no circumstance will Ligman Lighting USA pay for the labor, tooling, equipment, or freight costs associated with troubleshooting, disassembly, shipment, infield repair, or installation of replacement parts or products provided. If you ship your product to us, we recommend that you ship with a reputable carrier that can provide tracking information and proof of delivery, such as FedEx or UPS. You are responsible for your product until we sign for delivery. Ligman Lighting USA cannot be held responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit.

Applicable Law and Disputes
To the full extent permitted under applicable local law, this limited warranty and any disputes arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty (“Disputes”) will be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, excluding conflicts of law principles and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any Disputes. If any provision of this limited warranty is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect any remaining provisions.
Limitation of Liability and Implied Warranties
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY LIGMAN LIGHTING USA. LIGMAN LIGHTING USA MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARE SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY AS TO MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR OR SPECIAL PURPOSE. LIGMAN LIGHTING USA WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHETHER THE CLAIM ARISES IN CONTRACT, TORT, FOR NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE. LIGMAN LIGHTING USA’S LIABILITY WILL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY A CUSTOMER FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
